Kicherer E 50 Coupe based on 2010 Mercedes E-Class Coupe

Posted by admin

Kicherer has unveiled the new E 50 Coupe.

Based on the Mercedes E500, the car features a revised ECU module and a sports exhaust system. It enables the 5.5-liter V8 to produce 430 PS (316 kW / 424 hp) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque – an increase of 42 PS (31 kW / 41 hp) and 20 Nm (15 lb-ft). While Kicherer declined to release performance data, they stated the E 50 can hit a top speed in excess of 250 km/h (155 mph).

In terms of styling, the E 50 boasts a carbon fiber ‘Kicherer Performance Series’ package. It includes a front lip spoiler, aggressive side skirts, a rear diffuser, and special mirror casings (a three-blade sports grille is optional). Elsewhere, the company added 20-inch RS-1 wheels and a high performance brake system (with six piston calipers and carbon composite discs).

Kicherer Updates SL 63 RS facelift package

Posted by admin

kicherer-mercedes-sl-63-1

Here’s some more on the Kicherer SL 63 RS and, well, we always like to hear from the likes of German tuners who feel Mercedes AMG models still need some improvement, don’t we?

Kicherer takes the standard SL 63 AMG’s naturally aspirated 6.3 liter (6208cc) V8 with 525 hp and 630 Nm of torque and boosts those figures to 560 hp and 670 Nm of Nordic strongman-like cranking power. Sounds not too excessive, a solid display of tuning propriety.

An aerodynamic kit helps improve air flow above and beneath the car while being made up of lightweight laminated carbon fiber parts to keep this SL 63 on a high-carb/low fat diet. The kit includes a new front grill and spoiler, rear spoiler for better downforce and a rear skirt with a newly-shaped integrated diffuser that assiduously ushers air flow beneath the car while framing a quad-piped sport exhaust system.

On the menu too are an improved ABC suspension and tougher brakes to handle the extra performance. The SL 63 is also touched up with the use of LED daylight driving lights and 20-inch light-metal wheels wrapped in 255/30 tires at the front and 305/25 at the back.

Kicherer Prepare New E-Class Tuning Package

Posted by admin

kicherer-mercedes-e-class_3

Kicherer has unveiled an optics tuning package for the upcoming Mercedes E-Class.

The body kit consists of carbon fiber panels including front and rear spoilers, side mirror covers and rear bumper. 20-inch forged-alloy wheels, Kicherer’s own, are also included.

A new twin-piped performance exhaust system is part of the package too and Kicherer says it has tuned the suspension for a sportier ride.

On the inside comes a sport steering wheel, Nappa leather on the door panels and dashboard and carbon fiber finishings here and there.

Kicherer says this tuning package is based on the new E-Class AMG sports package, which will be offered on the new E-Class when it goes on sale in the coming weeks.

The new Mercedes E-Class is expected to arrive in dealer showrooms shortly.

No prices are available yet on this Kicherer tuning package for the new E-Class Mercedes.

Kicherer Mercedes SL Evo II

Posted by admin

This Mercedes by Kicherer is not the new SL. It is not the SL 63 AMG. It’s all Kicherer. At least, that’s what the German tuner claims. And we make no arguments against that.

The Kicherer Mercedes SL Evo II is based on the old Mercedes SL R230. But Kicherer has made it its own, with a carbon fiber rear wing and front skirt, hand-made, lightweight cast wheels and a few other in-house goodies.

The whole package also includes new side air intakes to make the SL Evo II breath a little easier and carbon fiber aerodynamic paneling all around, including a rear diffuser, lessen air resistance. The lightweight rear wing makes up the patented KICHERER Downforce-System, an electronically controlled flap that optimizes down force on the rear axle for maximum performance and stability.

For even stickier handling, a suspension lowering by an additional 25 mm is made possible through a re-programming of the electronic suspension system.

No pricing details were made available.

Kicherer Mercedes CL 65 Coupe with 650hp

Posted by admin

Kicherer has realised the value of absolute power by putting in some outstanding work into a Mercedes-Benz CL 65 AMG. The car is Benz’s finest work as far as the coupe body type is concerned, already sporting a nice 612 hp/ 450kW V12 of two turbos and 1000Nm. Kicherer was never going to be satisfied as any power-hungry world car fan would know, and so decided to up the game a little. Later on that.

For the exterior they chose a few changes, headlined by 9 and 10 x 20″ Kicherer RS-X lightweight wheels, carbon fiber mirror shells, rear diffuser, front grille and front apron whose deflector is also of the black light stuff. The exhaust system is a mirror-finished affair with four tailpipes, and supposedly makes the most glorious of sounds.

Inside as expected the CL 65 receives velvet glove treatment, from the alcantara ceiling, carbon intarsia, to the nappa leather seats, and handmade hand-worked shag pile carpet for the back. And now for the numbers you want. Kicherer has managed to squeeze out 38 more stallions out of the engine to give it a well-rounded 650 hp/ 486kW and oak-pulling 1200Nm. A rear diff lock helps plant it firmly on tar. For that you get 0 – 100km/h in 4.2 seconds and a limited 320km/h for your top end.

570HP Kicherer CL 60 Coupe Unveiled

Posted by admin

Some might call Lake Constance-based Kicherer’s obsession with making Mercedes-Benz products go faster an unhealthy one. Of course, those people clearly fail to appreciate the pleasure that 900Nm of torque at one’s command can bring. Kicherer’s latest is the CL 60 Coupe, based on the Mercedes CL600 luxury coupe.

The twin-turbo V12 CL600 sits pretty at the top of the Mercedes two-door lineup, and Kicherer’s wizards have left the basic package alone. Under the skin, however, things are a bit more exciting. The V12’s power has been boosted from 517 to 570, with a corresponding increase in torque to 900Nm. A modified transmission control module and locking rear differential ensure that the additional power gets to the road in a relatively dignified fashion, and the chassis has been lowered by 25mm. The CL 60 Coupe also features unique 20-inch Kicherer RS-1 wheels. A body kit and carbon trim set the CL 60 apart from stock CL600s nicely.

Other performance upgrades are available including a 4-flow stainless steel exhaust system and a set of sports springs which lowers the model by 25mm.

All put together, the RSStreet can accelerate from standstill to 100km/h in a little under 4.3 seconds and it reaches 200km/h in 13 seconds flat, top speed lies rises to 280km/h. These times are a little slower than previous tuning packages seen, however it would be hard to compare these models other than side by side on a racetrack.

Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Edition by Kicherer

Posted by admin

AMG’s 6.3-liter V8 engine has been tuned to output an extra 33hp and 20Nm of torque bringing total ponies to 540hp. Looking at the performance figures we see Kicherer has managed to drop the 0-100km/h to just 4.1 seconds and top speed can now exceed 300km/h.

Subtle modifications to the exterior design retain the Black Edition’s aggressive stance with the addition of a sportier radiator grille made of carbon featuring carbon fibre struts.
