German super tuner edo competition, who somehow do not feel the need to capitalize their name, claim to have made the Ferrari FXX race car a street legal vee-hickle (go ahead, say it like you were Johnny Cash).

Or maybe they’re just driving on the streets with an FXX race car and taunting the cops, as seen in the video here.

The fine folks at edo competition say that with a few add-ons they’ve manage to obey all the laws for a street-worthy vehicle in Germany. A proper windshield, all the required lighting, hand brake, and an exhaust system that makes the FXX meet all emissions standards. A new suspension has also been added with damping and adjustable compression.

No mention of bumpers, though, which one would think would be the first thing you’d need to make a race car street legal. Otherwise, scraping a cement pillar at the local shopping mall with your new FXX may become an expensive lesson in obeying the law. Read the rest of this entry »

The good folks at Kahn Design have been kind enough to send WCF these initial photos of their first Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. Admittedly, there’s not much in the way of actual body and performance upgrades, but Kahn keeps it simple with their first 599 project. Here they have added a lowered suspension, volume enhanced exhaust system and 20- and 21-inch Kahn Design F1-X Carbon wheels front and rear respectively, but the photos are quite nice.

The Ferrari F430 Scuderia is one car most people would have no problem in adding to my fantasy garage, the 510 horsepower supercar capable of doing 320km/h is more than sufficient to to satisfy most of our lusts. But should you wish for something a little extra why not enlist the help of specialist Ferrrari tuner Novitec Rosso who have just released their own tuning package boosting the engine up to a monstrous 717 horsepower bringing the top speed up to 348km/h and the 0-62mph time down to just 3.5 seconds.

The engine gets new belt driven twin-superchargers with a limited boost pressure of 0.48 bar, the heat insulated intake manifold have been redesigned to provide the engine with pre-compressed air and the it also gets two high performance air filters and eight larger injectors. The extra heat generated from the additional power is cooled with a higher capacity coolant system.

The subtle interior modifications include a new flat bottomed sports steering wheel featuring leather and carbon fibre materials as well as carbon-fibre shift paddles.

Ferrari 599 GTB is a beautiful car with impressive performance. But, an Saudi Arabian person wasn’t satisfied only by its performance, he wanted more. So, he specially ordered this amazing chrome Ferrari 599 GTB.

When a tuner is ready to get down and dirty with the likes of the Maserati MC12, Porsche Carrera GT and the Lamborghini Murcièlago LP640 it pretty much says there is no challenge too much. In the case of supercar tuner Edo Compeition they certainly have crossed every boundary you could possibly with exception to the mother of the all – the Enzo Ferrari.

We can well and truly say that this boundary has been crossed with a new tuning package which boosts power output to an estimated 700hp and 715Nm of torque which achieved with new exhaust headers similar to those found on the Ferrari FXX, a high-flow catalytic converter, performance muffler, modified intakes with a ram-air system, high-flow air filters and ECU recalibration.
