Cargraphic Turbo Look for Porsche Cayenne Diesel

Posted by admin

Cargraphic has unveiled a new styling package for the Porsche Cayenne Diesel.

Consisting of a rear valence and a stainless steel exhaust system, the package (€2,495) evokes the rear-end of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Of course, to complete the Diesel to Turbo transformation, you’ll also need the front valance and side skirts.

If you feel inclined to boost the diesel’s performance, Cargraphic offers a revised ECU module (€995). It enables the 3.0-liter V6 to produce 290 PS (213 kW / 286 hp) and 630 Nm (465 lb-ft) of torque – up from 240 PS (176 kW / 237 hp) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo Balrog Body Kit

Posted by admin

Porsche Cayenne Turbo Balrog Body Kit (1)

A remaking of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo coming out of France. Yes, it’s definitely worth a look.

The Cayenne Turbo Balrog is the work of car stylist Jeremie Paret, former editor-in-chief of the French luxury tuning magazine Modify, who last year branched out into a new business to start Balrog’s Garage.

Their first offering is this body kit for the Cayenne Turbo, where onto that canvass, for starters, is added a new grill, a set of side lights as well as ‘angel eyes’ fog lights. Balrog provides a new bumper for the Cayenne, which also improves intercooler function and helps cool down the front brakes a little more too.

The wide fenders will help fit bigger wheels to the Cayenne Turbo while the large lips and side skirts provide for some extroversion of the styling. A rear spoiler and diffuser improve aerodynamics as well as looks.

One wonders what this costs. But this is luxury tuning.

Cargraphic tunes Cayenne Diesel to 290hp

Posted by admin

Cargraphic Porsche Cayenne

Cargraphic has unveiled a new range of styling and performance accessories for the Porsche Cayenne Diesel.

Under the hood, Cargraphic adds a revised ECU module which boosts the 3.0-liter V6 turbo diesel’s output from 240hp (176kW) and 550Nm of torque to 290hp (213kW) and 630Nm of torque. Although Cargraphic did not provide any performance data, they did state the Cayenne’s top speed is increased to 221 km/h (137 mph).

The company also offers an extensive body kit which includes a new front valance, a rear diffuser, side skirts, and wheel arch extensions. If that doesn’t float your boat, perhaps Cargraphic’s modified electronic suspension module will do the trick. It has been specially designed to give the Cayenne a low stance which helps to improve aerodynamics and reduce drag.

Porsche Cayenne Russianized by Status Design

Porsche Cayenne Russianized by Status Design

A Moscow tuning studio has come up with this.

Status Design has released this picture of their re-imagining of the Porsche Cayenne. They call it the body-whale, although, it looks more like some kind of stylish vacuum cleaner or another design-happy home appliance.

The term body-whale is obviously meant to invoke some kind of marine-animal sense of sleekness and power but the design doesn’t really seem to match that. The front end actually looks a little like a Peugeot, with a few extra levels to the four-tiered grille. And what about that grille? It looks like a Venetian blind.

The Russian tuning studio tells us the body kit is made out of high-quality plastic and carbon. Which hints at the notion that this thing will actually be made some day.

The good news is, though, that as of now, it’s still only a rendering that is due to be published this fall.

Go ahead, have your say.

MAFF Muron Wide Body Styling Kit for Porsche Cayenne

Posted by admin

maff-porsche-cayenne-19

MAFF Tuning from Bucharest Romania is developing what it calls the Muron project to offer customers a wide eccentric choice of options in the quest for individuality. Said car is based on the Porsche Cayenne SUV. MAFF went about completing a project that would not only stand out but still perform.

The exterior package is based on fiber glass components in which carbon fiber elements can be implemented. The menu of components includes a new front grille with integrated LED daytime running lights, headlight masks, a front spoiler, a bonnet with dramatic scoops, side skirts, carbon fiber inserts on the door handles, and a roof spoiler. The side mirrors are covered in carbon fiber and have integrated LED indicators. The rear has a discreetly decorated boot lid and carbon fiber taillight covers.

Customers get to choose the size of their cars’ alloy wheels. They are not limited to prescribed paint colours either and can let their imagination run wild. MAFF has a fully-equipped paint shop in their workshop which is capable to handle any requests.

The interior is also very much subject to customisation in accordance to buyers’ demands. Alcantara is one of the upholstery leathers available and even the type of stitching can be specified. Not limiting their clients, MAFF offers them a range of audio systems that include names like Alpine. A multimedia system that allows the customer to place the display LCD screens anywhere can be fitted.

Because this is still a Porsche under the skin, all engines can be tuned for up to 100hp (74kW). Some even produce up to 700hp (515kW) in total without compromising engine longevity. The suspension system can be lowered by up to 80mm to improve handling as well as looks.

JE Design Progressor based on Porsche Cayenne

Posted by admin

je-design-progressor-based-on-porsche-cayenne_3

Making the Porsche Cayenne bigger, badder and more aggressive-looking has become something of a cottage industry. The latest appearance package for Porsche’s SUV comes from JE Design, with the unveiling of its “Progressor” body and suspension upgrade.

The Progressor features a restyled front and rear with more muscular looks and LED daytime running lights. Headlamp masks, an enlarged lower air intake and LED lighting in the door sills are unique touches; at the rear, a new four-pipe exhaust and LED lights integrated into the rear diffuser give the Progressor a distinct going-away aspect. The pumped-up appearance is enhanced by a widened track (60mm in the front, 80mm at the rear) and flared fenders, as well as side skirts that accent the lowered body. Overall, it doesn’t look too bad for a modified Cayenne–we’ve certainly seen worse.

A choice of an electronically controlled lowering kit or adjustable coil-overs provides between 30 and 70mm of drop. Fat 10×22-inch wheels complete the package, and a gloss graphite finish offers a striking contrast to the white show car. 295/30-series tires ensure that the Progressor’s handling is up to tuned-Porsche standards.

The JE Design Progressor Cayenne kit is available now, though we don’t have any information on pricing.

LUMMA Design CLR 550 R Based on Porsche Cayenne Facelift Debuts at Essen

Posted by admin

The Porsche Cayenne remains one of the most sought-after tuner subjects and LUMMA Design has joined the fray with the facelifted GTS based CLR 550 R.

The SUV has a body kit that is 5cm wider on each side with 315/25-23 Michelins front and rear. Add the sport lowering suspension kit and the CLR 550 R sits 40mm lower making its wheels look even bigger. The look is heightened by a front spoiler bumper with a double daylight/fog lamp pair, side skirts, fender extensions, a rear bumper, tailgate apron, and a bonnet in Carbon/Kevlar which flows into those “evil eye” eyelids.

The ECU has received some reprogramming to jam out more power from the GTS V8, and something called LUMMA GPM added. GPM or gas pedal power module, gives a quick response on the gas pedal. From the rear an exhaust system with flap technology and stainless steel construction provides positive feedback.

A feeling of comfortable motorsports resonates inside where carbon fiber and leather/ alcantara dominate in addition to aluminium foot pedals. There’s a bit of ICE as well courtesy of a multimedia system with 7.5-inch, headrest-mounted screens. Read the rest of this entry and check out more photos »

Porsche Cayenne GTS Accessories by JE Design

Posted by admin

JE Design is known mostly as a VW and SEAT tuner. But here they give the Porsche Cayenne a go and this is the lux-tuner level achieved with this makeover.

The tuning package is wheels, optics and suspension with no engine work in the mix. But the package does lend to superior performance with the front and rear skirts providing a better aerodynamic flow and the lowered suspension a more nimble handling.

There is actually a lowering of the chassis by about 3.5 cm and, hence, the center of gravity, to make for a more balanced ride. A further suspension mechanism, a “stainless steel coilover kit”, permits a drop range of 3 to 7 cm as well.

New LED daylight running lights are added too. And the 22-inch rims for the 295/30 R22 XL tire size help give the Cayenne that road-muncher look it was made for. The single-piece cast wheels come in a variety of dark, moody colors.

No pricing details available but you can bet those 22-inch rims come in at the price of a solid used car. Read the rest of this entry and check out more photos »

edo Competition Porsche Cayenne GTS with 450 hp

Posted by admin

Let’s face it; Porsche’s Cayenne is not a middle-of-the-road vehicle. You either love it for its distinct looks and physics-defying performance and versatility, or you hate it for polluting Porsche’s sports-car heritage and being ugly to boot. The just-introduced edo Competition Cayenne GTS will only serve to deepen the polarity of Cayenne reactions. This performance and aerodynamics package makes everything about the Cayenne bolder.

The modifications start under the hood, where edo has upgraded the Cayenne GTS’ exhaust and intake and remapped the ECU to produce 450 horsepower (331 kW) and 391 ft-lb (530 Nm) torque. This two-ton vehicle races from zero to 100km/h in 6.4 seconds and tops out at 270 km/h (168mph). To help keep the Cayenne GTS controllable, an adjustable-height suspension and larger six-piston monoblock brake calipers. 22-inch forged wheels with stainless steel outer rims are staggered for width (10 inches up front and 11 in the rear), and edo will paint the rim centers if you’d like.

The edo Cayenne GTS’ exterior is enhanced by a domed hood and new front spoiler with quad foglights and mesh inserts. Read the rest of this entry and check out more photos »
